HI FRIENDS,

My name is Christina and I am a CITY GIRL. I just celebrated my four year anniversary of my DC move and I’m ecstatic to start writing again! There are so many places and people that inspire me here.

Life is messy, loud, creative, unpredictable, FUN, and even dramatic. This blog will be no different. I’m somewhat of an open book, so if you get uncomfortable easily then proceed with caution. I can’t wait to see how life continues to unfold and I am excited to take you on this journey with me.

A little about me:

I have a sweet three year old Maltipoo pup, Chanel, who is my absolute source of joy! I currently work in Catholic news media and firmly believe headbands are a signature piece.

I have a deep love and admiration for the performing arts and truly believe that pure love is found on stage. I frequent the Kennedy Center and Warner Theatre as often as possible! Since I have stepped away from my acting days (though I think about stepping back in daily), I try to express my creativity in different ways. Ballroom, ballet, and photography have been such a beautiful outlet that I hope to continue.

I can watch Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls, the Golden Girls, and The Crown on repeat every single day. I absolutely love the Devil Wears Prada but would never pass up an opportunity to watch Remember The Titans.  I listen to the Hamilton and Wicked soundtracks almost daily on my walk to work and pretend I’m on stage instead of a dirty pavement clocking into a 9-5.

My favorite novel is the Catcher in the Rye and I am absolutely obsessed with Annette Chavez Macias.

I firmly believe in buying your own flowers and ordering iced caramel macchiatos for any occasion.

I’m a practicing Roman Catholic and my faith is extremely important to me.

Pink is my favorite color and autumn makes me happy.

Old movies speak to my soul.
